Jennifer Gillispie
What would the Ventura Spinal Care Center
do without Jennifer “Jen” Gillispie! She has been with us since
1997. She left a couple of times so she could birth and raise
her beautiful children: Kodie and Donnie “Bubba”.
But she returned in 2009 and everyone couldn’t be happier, but
especially Dr. Alff! Jen does just about everything that is
needed in our office (except the spinal adjustments!)
She is the one who will greet you upon arrival and will make you
feel warm and comfortable. She will handle any required
paperwork quickly and efficiently. She will make sure you get
all your questions answered and will make sure that you are seen
quickly and that you have all the time you need for your care.
Jen is also a Massage Therapist so she understands the body and
knows what it will take for you to achieve optimal health. She
collaborates with the Doctors and back office staff to make sure
you receive all the services that you need to get well and
achieve wellness quickly.
She is also very knowledgeable in nutrition and can answer many
questions you might have in regards to what is needed to support
your health. In other words, you are in good hands from the
minute you meet Jen. You’ll be glad you have gotten to know
this beautiful (inside and out) lady.
Rosey Esparza
Meet Rosey Esparza. She is Dr. Alff’s Back Office
Assistant and he would be lost without her! She has
been working as a part of our team since November 2005.
Rosey is our non-surgical spinal decompression
technician for incredible pain-relieving treatments on
the amazing DRX-9000. She is one of the key reasons we
have so many happy and satisfied patients. She also
will be performing any therapy that may be needed to get
you back to optimal health.
Rosey also assists Dr. Alff and Dr Leonard with whatever
else may be needed for our patients’ optimal healing.
She also is very knowledgeable in the Essential Oils
that we use in our office to assist the healing process,
so if you have any questions about essential oils she is
a great source to ask!
Rosey is also a Massage Therapist so she definitely has
the healing touch and knows the human body and what it
will take for you to heal quickly. She is the proud
mother of Brianna, a beautiful 18 year old high school
senior. She also loves any kind of animal and has the
healing touch with them also!
She is awesome and everyone loves her! She will make
you feel very welcome and comfortable. You'll love her,
just like we do!
Dr. Matt Leonard, D.C.
Dr. Matt Leonard, D.C. has been a part of our team since
July 2008. He attended Life West Chiropractic College
in northern California, graduating in 2008. You will
not find too many other Chiropractors that love
Chiropractic the way Dr. Leonard does. He knows that
all healing takes place from above down, inside out…as
long as you remove the interference to the nervous
system, your body can heal.
Removing that interference by performing spinal
adjustments which moves the bones off the spinal nerves
and restores life to the body is very fulfilling to him.
Dr. Leonard, D.C. grew up in Ventura and knew that he
would return to practice here, helping Ventura County
residents restore their health. His parents and brother
still reside in the area.
He is married to a very beautiful young lady, Charlotte,
who is employed as a Nurse. When he is not helping
people achieve wellness, you will find him surfing at
our beautiful beach here in Ventura.
Susan Alff
Susan Alff, Dr. Alff’s wife, has been working alongside
Dr. Alff since they first came to Ventura in 1982. They
have been married since July, 1975 and she worked at the
San Fernando Valley Association of Realtors while he
went through Chiropractic College.
Then, after the birth of their first child in 1983, a
son named Darren, she came into the office to do the
insurance billing, and has been here ever since! She
only left for a short time in 1987 for the birth of
their second child, a beautiful girl named Marissa.
Susan takes care of all the insurance billing for you so
you don’t have to bother with it. She also does all the
accounts payable and bookwork and also a lot of the
public relations/marketing. She is also the errand gal
and makes sure we have all the supplies we need to
better serve you.
When she is not working at the Ventura Spinal Care
Center, she likes to read and usually has a stack of at
least 5 to 8 books going at one time. She also loves to
watch movies, go shopping and takes care of her mother
who lives in Orange County.
